David Oxley

I am a senior threat intelligence leader and technologist driven by the intersection of human rights and cybersecurity.

I currently lead Amazon's cyber threat intelligence analysis organization and am a Research Affiliate with the Citizen Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. I specialize in the creation of inventive, threat-centric cyber threat intelligence organizations in the technology sector.

In the past, I've built and grown several such organizations and teams, investigated APT and criminal actors, served as a federal agent, worked as a digital forensic examiner, and taught in both academic and corporate settings. I have an MS in Security Informatics and a Graduate Certificate in National Security Studies from the Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Computer Science from Emory University.
